Ashley & Steven // ENGAGED
Here’s a bunch of my favorite pictures from Ashley and Steven’s Engagement Session a couple weeks ago.

Jessica, Billy & Avery
What a beautiful day we had for Jessica and Billy’s Engagement/Family shoot at Bannerman Park. Jessica, Billy and Avery – who by the way is a complete cutie - drove in from Clarenville a few weeks ago to get their pictures done before the weather got horribly cold and gross(meaning SNOW). They were in luck!!!!
Their are getting married in Clarenville this coming June, so be sure to check back.

This next pictures is a favorite, I love the light, their expressions everything about it

This is what happens when Billy doesn’t get to go hunting ha ha ha

Kayla & Charles = Engaged
The fog made and beautiful backdrop today at Kayla and Charles Engagement session on Cape Spear. Such a sweet couple, and Charles is a big romantic which you don’t see to much in the guys (not in front of the camera anyway), I can’t wait to shoot there wedding in June – it’s gonna be beautiful!!!!

Jenn & Mike are Engaged
Proposal by Kinder Egg!!!! It was 7am on Easter morning and Mike and Jenn were sat on their couch at home(in Calgary), Jenn opened one of those large Kinder Eggs and inside was a little black box and inside the little black box was a beautiful ring. So Sweet!!!!
Jenn and Mike are getting Married TOMORROW, so be sure to keep an eye out for their Wedding post.
I love all the pictures in this Blog post but this first one is a big favorite

Serina & JM = Engagement!!
So, I was so excited to finally meet Serina and JM, Serina got in contact with me a few months back, as she was coming home for her friends Christa and Jeff’s Wedding (which is this Friday) (That I will be shooting) (so be sure to check back for their blog post)!!!!! Back to Serina and JM, they got engaged almost a year ago, and their doing a destination wedding in Mexico, which is where I would love to be right now, sunshine and heat….we haven’t seen or felt either in over a week – it’s pretty depressing. Actually, the sun broke through the clouds yesterday for about 3 sec and it was instant heat, it was so nice!!!!!!

Charlene & Blair = Engaged
I meet Charlene last Fall at her friend Stacey’s wedding – She was a Bridesmaid and I was second shooting with Lori Moss, long story short……she booked me to shoot her wedding July 2012, and today we did the Engagement shoot.
The Newfoundland RDF (rain, drizzle & fog) was NOT gonna put a damper on our session, Charlene & Blair ROCK IT.

Jolene & Ron//Engagement
Hanging out this morning with Jolene, Ron and 11month old Ethan made the cold wind, rain, drizzle and fog of Newfoundland tolerable and even though my feet were soaked and I was frozen, Jolene and Ron kinda/some what enjoyed it; it was a refreshing change from the 41 degree heat in Ontario….ahhh Heat, I wish we could have some!!!!
Jolene and Ron are living in Ontario now, but are home on Vacation….ahhh Vacation……Sorry I got distracted!!! ha ha. Their getting married August 11th, 2012 and I’m lucky enough to be shooting their wedding in Placentia.

Lindsay & Matt
Lindsay + Matt = Fun!! It’s true I laughed so much doing this Engagement session, I can’t wait for their wedding in September.

HA HA HA HA Matt tried to scare the S^#T out of Lindsay…….I think it worked!!!

Lindsay trying so hard to lift Matt off the ground, and his toes are still touching!!!! ha ha

I’m the Queen of the castle ………

Jeff & Christa =ENGAGED
With a beautiful wedding planned for August 12th, 2011 in Marystown, Newfoundland, Christa, Jeff and I took advantage of last Sunday’s amazing weather – it’s not to often you get a temp of 17 degrees Celsius on the 9th of November….in NEWFOUNDLAND!!!!!!
I’ve been living in St. John’s/Mount Pearl for 12 years(WOW) and it’s only in the last couple years(since I became a photographer) that I truly noticed how beautiful this city really is, so many landmarks/buildings/artwork go unnoticed. So I have a little task for all my readers- take a day with family/friends get out of the house and go for a walk, you’ll be surprised in what you’ll see that you haven’t noticed before. Now back to the couple in love….
Christa and Jeff just bought a beautiful home in the Downtown area of St. John’s, and are currently in the process of opening their own Chiropractic clinic – “Back Home Chiropractic” it’s located in Bidgood’s North Plaza, Goulds, Newfoundland. Wish you both lots of success.

I thought this was so interesting, this bell was on Christa and Jeff’s when they moved in. Probably not the real deal, but still pretty cool.

This barn is behind their house and apparently was used for the police horses YEARS ago. Another beautiful historic building!!!

Lesley & Shane = Engaged

Cute right!!!!!! This is 5 year old Gabbie, she’s Lesley and Shane’s baby! And my new best friend!
This couple is perfect together, I love the way she looks at him, I love the way he makes her laugh and I love that I get to take their wedding pictures September 2011.
Yesterday I meet up with Lesley and Shane at their house in Paradise, got some pictures with Gabbie and then headed for a walk around Neil’s Pond, we had so much fun and I heard some very weird stories -like a trout dead on the walkway to their house, how did it get there, and what kind of trout was it…Rainbow,Brook trout lol I thought it was a pretty funny story, maybe you just need to hear it from Lesley and Shane ha ha.

John & Stephanie//Engagement
Rain – no rain – rain – no rain - that’s the way yesterday’s weather went, the Engagement session was up in the air until picture time at 7pm …but the rain held off. I meet up with my cousin John and his future wife Stephanie on the top of signal hill, and let me tell you these two were naturals, through the wind and the cold they both mad it look so easy. Their big day is July 31st and I’m so excited to be able to shoot their wedding, so be sure to drop back and have a look at this amazing couple.
For more of John & Stephanie check out the website
Shane & Heather
Shane, Heather and I drove to bowering park for pictures last saturday, and was it ever cold, I think my finger actually froze to the shutter button. But it was a great day with alot of laughing…at me when I beat the top of my head off the bottom of the bridge, but don’t worry about me I’m ok – just a slight headache ha ha. Here’s some of my favorite images from that day. Enjoy
25 Random Things About Me!!
So I’m really bored today, and started things maybe I should tell my readers a little bit about my wacky self. I started the typing …and what was I thinking, it took me an hour to find the right things to write, but FINALLY I have it done. Please don’t laugh….to hard.
1. I’m a big snoop when it comes to surprises and presents, I just can’t wait.
2. I still get a colouring book and crayons for Christmas.
3. The smell of coffee makes me sick.
4. I met the love of my life on the Internet in 2003.
5. I’m not a huge chocolate fan, except the Lindor chocolates yummmm!!
6. I have a beautiful 4 year old son Hunter Christopher.
7. I named my son after my best friend who passed away in 2003.
8. I played with barbies and dolls until I was atleast 14 years old.
9. My favorite memory from when I was little is when my dad took me to a store and told me I could pick out anything I wanted…I brought home a huge(so I thought at the time) white teddy bear with a red ribbon around his neck. I still have him.
10. I love watching movies- the romantic comedy’s of course.
11. I adore being in a relationship and I love being a mother.

22. I can sit down for hours watching Hunter and Jody playing, there’s just so much love.
23. I always have a camera with me, I like the idea that if I take the pictures, then I’m not in any.
24. Me and my brother would cut the tape on our Christmas presents to see what it was and then tape them back up so mom wouldn’t know – well she know’s now. Then we’d pretend to be all surpirsed Christmas morning.
25. I’m great at keeping someone else’s secrets, but when it comes to my own I suck!!

A Little R & R
This weekend past a bunch of us packed up the campers/tents and the toys and headed for Northern Pond. The weather was great Friday, Saturday we had alot of rain, drizzle and fog – typical NL weather. But that didn’t stop us from having a great time, nothing beats a beautiful sky of stars, some beers and great friends.

No Place Like Home
Sandy beach, beautiful waves….it’s something that’s not in St. John’s, that why I loving going ‘HOME’.
I was born in Grand Bank, Newfoundland in June of 1980, shortly after my parents moved to Toronto and for 10 years of my life that’s were we lived. When I was half way through grade 4 my parents, myself and my younger brother moved back to Newfoundland, to the Burin Penninsula, a little community called Lamaline….and this is were I call home.
Me and Hunter took the 4 hour drive to Lamaline a week ago, our last day home we decided to go wave jumping…have a look at the fun.
