2011 Wedding Bookings
Business cards are in, clients kits are printed, everything is looking great – so it’s official – I’m now taking booking for 2011, god that seems so far away… but for you brides out there runny around trying to get things booked it’s getting pretty close. Oh before I forget…..
I also have a BIG secret up my sleve for all 2011 brides. I’m so excited for this, almost as excited as my trip to Edmonton in which I’m leaving for in 5 more sleeps, but enough about that, this secret has something to do with the word FREE. Look for this post April 1st, it’s gonna be big, actually you might almost wanna mark it on your calendar ha ha.
2010 is gonna ROCK!!!!

Jody and I are flying to Edmonton in 2 weeks, I love Edmonton …to visit…..oh course, there’s always so much to do, no matter where you go there’s always something. This year I think were gonna visit the Telus World of Science (probably check out an Imax movie too), smell some pretty flowers at the Muttat Conservatory, visit the Royal Alberta Museum, the West Edmonton Mall and LOTS of shopping of course, we also have hockey tickets to a game on the 19th between Edmonton and Detroit it’s being aired on TV so be sure to watch for us. And check back for lots of pictures from our trip.
I’m so stoked for this summer, I love this season …the sun, kids playing, the annoying sound of the Ice Cream truck and then the sound of a 4 year old says “can I have an ice cream, do you have any money mommy???” ha ha . But besides the weather and sounds, this summer is gonna ROCK. I have 3 weedding booked for my first official year of wedding photography, I’ve got a wedding on July 31st, August 7th & September 4th, I’m so excited but VERY VERY nervous all at the same time, and along with my own weddings this summer, I’ll be an assistant to the fabulous Lori Moss for 11 or more weddings, I can’t wait, I have learned so much from not only Lori Moss but Charla .ca as well, they have both thaught me so much about workflow, equipment, tips and techniques. I definitly owe them BIG THANKS for helping me with my career.

Another year here and gone
Happy New Year !!!!! 2009 was a great year, my best friend delivered a beautiful baby boy who they named Benjamin, I launched my website in May and started my blog, one of my best friends got married in August, I have been working steady with my photography business and I’ve been very honored to help Lori Moss and Charla with a couple of there weddings(hoping to help with a few more in 2010), and I can’t forget about FINALLY getting my puppy Clutch(blog post to follow). Along with the good there’s always the bad, on March 12th, a Cougar Helicopter crashed into the Ocean killing 17 with 1 survivor, included in the deceased was a very good freind of the family – Wade Drake(42), on September 7th we lost a very good friend Damien(29), due to a traggic bike accident, and December I lost another very good friend Rikki(29) due to illness (blog post to follow later).
2009 is gone, and I’m praying there nothing but good to come in 2010.
I don’t believe in the new years resolutions – no one ever keeps them, so me and Jody made a bet, the first one to loose 20lbs wins. I can’t tell you what the winner gets yet (gotta keep you all in suspence) but trust me it’s gonna be good. Along with loosing weight, this year I’m going to keep in better touch with freinds and family, and make sure that they know I love them- cause you just never. I’m also going to get cracking on blog posting and organizing my business.
So I pray that this year everyone stays safe, and I hope to see everyone soon.
